Any feedback on the show is very welcome - what did you like? What didn't you like? How can we improve? What would you like to see at the next show?

Due to circumstances beyond the organisers' control, no fixed-wing aircraft could operate from Abingdon Airfield for the 2010 Abingdon Air & Country Show. This was due to an issue surrounding the sign-off by Defence Estates of the licence which is required to operate fixed-wing aircraft from Abingdon for the event. As you will have seen we managed to put on the flying display regardless, adding some more items to make up for the lack of operations from the airfield itself. Sadly the poor weather precluded the appearance of the Jet Provost, Harvard and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

As one of the classic car dispayers - may I say thanks for all the hard work you guys put in. Yes the weather was awful and the MOD decision not exactly helpful either but these are circumstances beyond control. I'll be back next year and with the airfield situation sorted and better weather (couldn't be worse than this time!) it'll be fun again. Keep up the good work - unsung local heros raising money for a worthwhile cause deserve more.

F16 was great, as were the "fillers" from the RAF etc. good to see VC10.
understand some craft stuck due to weather, can't be helped.
Defense Estates, need I say more ? airshow with no aircraft park / visiting aircraft..... I only stayed for the F16.
On the upside, plenty of loos, entry + exit traffic easy, parking great.
Please can we have more noise + more aircraft + more "practical" ground activities ( to do rather than just look at ) next year please?
Didn't enjoy the mob in the subaru's one bit.
How did the OV10d Bronco sneak in with the "no (fixed wing)fly" policy ? them wings looked fairly fixed to me...
Also saw the duct tape sealing some panel gaps on the RAF Puma helicopter, but no worries, as it wasn't flying at the time.
Hope you can send a strong message to whoever messed up / denied the sign-off.
Overall, not upset, not happy, just rather concerned for next year.

Despite cold and planes not being allowed to take off / land - we all had a truly great day!

Ok so the aircraft couldn't land and take off and the weather was rubbish at least to start with but we had a really good day . Looked like a lot of stands didn't turn up because of the weather which was a shame but still lots to entertain the smaller crowd. F-16 and the bronco right at the end were highlights for us at least. One slight critiscm - we booked in advance but were directed to a car park hundreds of yards away from the main entrance - we asked to be moved as we had infirmed with us and our request was granted. Would not buy advance tickets in future because of this but will be be back next year - keep it up.

Well despite the weather we had a great time.I thought the pilots were fantastic showing great talent flying in this weather and the F16 was certainly worth waiting for. Thank you to everyone evolved.
