Any feedback on the show is very welcome - what did you like? What didn't you like? How can we improve? What would you like to see at the next show?

Due to circumstances beyond the organisers' control, no fixed-wing aircraft could operate from Abingdon Airfield for the 2010 Abingdon Air & Country Show. This was due to an issue surrounding the sign-off by Defence Estates of the licence which is required to operate fixed-wing aircraft from Abingdon for the event. As you will have seen we managed to put on the flying display regardless, adding some more items to make up for the lack of operations from the airfield itself. Sadly the poor weather precluded the appearance of the Jet Provost, Harvard and Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Excellent show, but the toilets were totally inadequate for the number of people.

I think we timed it well - turning onto the site as the Jet Provost was completing its display. Being a little late meant no queues - and a parking space much closer to the arena than anticipated!

Past experience meant we'd made sure we went to the loo before arriving, so the rest of the afternoon was all good. Excellent displays from the Hawk, Chinook and the Tiger Team parachutists...and this year we could hear the PA perfectly.

Still managed to miss the web address for the Hawk Display Team competition...and I've got a 13 year old very keen to enter. Anyone recall it?

Great day, great flying and very good value. Excellent as always to be able to talk to the people who keep us safe.

But.....poor toilet facilities

Just wanted to say what a great day out! We have been planning to fly in for the last two years but have been beaten by the weather so great that is was third time lucky this year! I agree with the comments about the loo's, but overall a fantastic event and I hope to be able to fly in again next year.

We flew in with our old ex-miltary Cub and were impressed with the A/G radio service both on arrival and departure as well as the marshallers. Commentary was informative too, giving just the right balance of information to those who were familiar with aviation and those who were not. Thanks to all. The flying display was excellent in every respect, right up to the very stylish departure of the C17! It's a good event and long may it continue. Let's hope it raised a goodly sum for the Air Ambulance too. Well done.
