Location

Abingdon Airfield is situated in the heart of Oxfordshire just 5 miles away from Oxford and 1 mile west of Abingdon town, just west of the A34 road. If approaching from the South, leave the A34 at the Abingdon/Marcham exit and turn left at the roundabout (initially following signs for Marcham). If approaching from the North, leave the A34 at Abingdon/Marcham exit (ignore the Abingdon North exit) and turn right at the roundabout (initially following signs for Marcham). If approaching from the A420, turn onto the A415 (initially following signs for Kingston Bagpuize) and continue on the A415 until you have gone through Marcham.
For those coming from the Marcham direction, take the first left after Marcham - for those coming from the A34 direction, take the first right. Then take the first right into Barrow Road and a quarter of a mile further on the entrance to the airfield is on your left. A more detailed view of local roads is below.

Once through the airfield entrance follow the perimeter track around to the left and after going through the pay gates you will be directed to a car park.
Public Transport
The nearest mainline train station to Abingdon is Oxford, with connecting Buses (the X3 service) running from outside the railway station (stop R3) to Abingdon town centre. For a timetable, click here. There is also the slower City 35 service, with more local stops - timetables available here. From Abingdon town centre, a taxi can then take you to the Airfield Southern Entrance (make sure you request this).
Gates open at 10 AM and close at 5 PM.
